Sauerkraut Spätzle with chicken frankfurters

A hearty German-inspired dish the whole family will love.
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp (30ml) olive oil
- 4 beech-wood smoked chicken Frankfurters, sliced
- 1 cup (150g) Sauerkraut
- 350g Spätzle wheat noodles
- 1 Tbsp (15ml) pepper
Method:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the sliced Frankfurters and cook until lightly browned, about 5 - 8 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and add the spätzle to the pan with an extra tablespoon of olive oil, brown for about 8 minutes.
- Add the sauerkraut and cooked Frankfurter to the skillet and cook until heated through.
- Season generously with black pepper and serve immediately
